Platform terms

Version 2026-09-08. These terms are between you and IT-Trail GmbH ("we", "us"). They govern the platform we operate under the name IT-Trail ("the Platform"): a central account with which you sign in to the applications listed below, the consent records the Platform keeps for you, and the management of subscriptions, credits and licences for those applications.

Each application has terms of its own. Those terms govern what the application does; these terms govern the account, the consent and the billing that the Platform provides to all of them. Where an application's terms and these terms conflict on a question concerning the account or billing, these terms apply.

2. The applications

The Platform provides sign-in, consent and subscription management for the following applications:

  • the applications reachable from the Platform's start page at https://auth.ittrail.dev.

An application may be added to or removed from the Platform. Adding one does not change your relationship with the others; removing one is handled under section 11.

3. Your account

One account. You register once, and the same account signs you in to every application on the Platform that you choose to use. Signing in to an application for the first time makes you a user of that application under its own terms.

Accuracy. The information you give at registration and afterwards must be accurate and kept up to date. We may verify your e-mail address and may refuse or suspend an account whose e-mail address cannot be verified.

Credentials. You are responsible for keeping your password and any second factor confidential and for everything done through your account until you tell us that it has been compromised. You can end all active sessions, change your password and manage second factors at any time in your account settings at https://auth.ittrail.dev/realms/saas-stack/account/?referrer=admin-portal-app&referrer_uri=https%3A%2F%2Fauth.ittrail.dev%2F.

Third-party sign-in. Where we offer sign-in through an external identity provider (for example a Google or Microsoft account), the provider tells us your name and e-mail address and you can unlink it again in your account settings. Your relationship with that provider is governed by its own terms.

Capacity. You must be old enough to enter into a contract under the law of your residence, or have the consent of your legal guardian. If you use the Platform on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it, and "you" in these terms means that organisation.

Consent records. Before you can use an application for the first time, the Platform shows you the documents you need to accept — these terms and the documents of that application — and records which version you accepted, when, and in which language. You can ask for a copy of those records under section 13.

4. Paid plans, prices and payment

Contracting party. When you subscribe to a paid plan or buy credits for an application, the contract is with us, unless the checkout page names a different seller.

Prices. Prices are shown on the plan page of each application before you subscribe. Prices shown to consumers include value-added tax. Prices shown to businesses may be net of tax, in which case tax is added at the applicable rate and stated on the invoice. The currency of each plan is stated with its price.

Payment. Payment is taken through Stripe, our payment service provider, by the payment methods offered at checkout. We do not see or store your full card number. By subscribing you authorise us to charge the recurring price to your payment method at the start of each billing period until the subscription ends.

Invoices. An invoice is issued for every charge and is available on the application's plan page and by e-mail.

Failed payments. If a payment fails we tell you by e-mail and retry. If the payment still fails after the retries, the subscription may be suspended, and after a further period it may be ended. Access to the application's paid features may be restricted while a payment is outstanding.

Price changes. We may change the price of a plan for future billing periods. We will tell you at least 30 days before the change takes effect, and you may cancel before then. A price change never applies to a billing period that has already been paid for.

5. Term, renewal and cancellation

Renewal. A subscription runs for the billing period you chose (monthly or yearly) and renews automatically for the same period unless it is cancelled before the period ends.

Cancellation. You can cancel at any time on the application's plan page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep the paid features until then and are not charged again. A cancelled subscription can be resumed before the period ends.

Plan changes. You can move to a different plan of the same application at any time. Moving to a more expensive plan takes effect immediately and the difference for the remainder of the current period is charged pro rata; moving to a cheaper plan takes effect at the next renewal, unless the plan page says otherwise.

Pause. Where an application offers it, a subscription can be paused. A paused subscription is not charged and its paid features are not available until it is resumed.

6. Right of withdrawal for consumers

If you are a consumer — a natural person acting for purposes outside your trade, business or profession — you have the right to withdraw from a paid subscription or a credit purchase within 14 days of the day the contract was concluded, without giving any reason.

To withdraw, send us a clear statement (for example a letter or an e-mail to office@ittrail.at) before the period ends. You may use the model form at the end of these terms, but you do not have to. We will refund every payment received from you for the withdrawn contract without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the payment method you used.

Services that start during the withdrawal period. A subscription starts immediately at your express request. If you withdraw after it has started, you owe us a proportionate amount for the service provided up to the moment you withdrew, and we refund the rest.

Digital content. Where a purchase concerns digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium — for example a licence key that is delivered to you immediately — the right of withdrawal expires once delivery has begun with your express consent and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal. You give that consent and acknowledgement at checkout.

7. Free plans, trials and credits

A free plan or a trial may be limited in scope and duration and may be changed or withdrawn. When a trial converts to a paid plan we tell you by e-mail beforehand. Credits bought or granted for an application are valid for that application only, are not transferable and are not redeemable for money, except where the law requires otherwise.

8. Licences

Where an application issues a licence key for software you install yourself, the key is tied to your account and to the plan it was issued for. It stops working when the plan ends, after any grace period the application grants. A licence key is for your own use and may not be shared or sold. The use of the software itself is governed by that application's licence terms.

9. Your obligations

You must not:

  • use the Platform or an application to break the law, to infringe the rights of others or to distribute unlawful, defamatory, infringing or harmful content;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, to an application, to another account or to the systems behind them, or to interfere with their operation;
  • misuse the Platform's sign-in, consent or billing mechanisms, including by making payments with a payment method you are not entitled to use;
  • create accounts by automated means, or more accounts than you need for a legitimate purpose.

We may suspend or end an account that is used in breach of this section (section 11).

10. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Platform available at all times but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, updates and events outside our control can interrupt the service. We may change the Platform, including how you sign in and how billing works, provided that the changes do not reduce what you have paid for during a period already paid; where a change materially affects you, we will tell you in advance.

11. Ending the relationship

By you. You can delete your account at any time in your account settings. Deleting the account ends every subscription on it at the end of the current billing period, after which the account and its data are deleted as described in our privacy notice. Delete only after you have cancelled what you no longer want to pay for; a running subscription is not refunded because the account was deleted.

By us. We may suspend or end your account with reasonable notice, or immediately for good cause — in particular a serious or repeated breach of section 9, a payment that remains outstanding after the retries in section 4, or a legal requirement. If we end an application's availability on the Platform, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance and refund any part of a prepaid period that you cannot use.

12. Liability

We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under any statutory liability that cannot be limited.

Otherwise, our liability for slight negligence is limited to damage that is typical for and foreseeable under a contract of this kind. If you are a business, our total liability for slight negligence in any contract year is limited to the amount you paid us in that year, and we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of data that you could have backed up, or indirect damage.

Nothing in this section limits the rights that mandatory consumer law gives you.

13. Data protection

How we process your personal data — what we store about your account, your consents and your payments, on which legal basis, for how long, and which rights you have — is set out in our privacy notice at https://auth.ittrail.dev/legal/privacy. It is part of what you accept with these terms only to the extent that it informs you; your rights under data protection law do not depend on acceptance.

14. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms when the law, the Platform or the applications change. A new version has a new version number and takes effect when you accept it; the Platform asks you to accept the current version at your next sign-in. If you do not accept, you cannot continue to sign in, and you can cancel your subscriptions and delete your account as described above. Changes that only benefit you or are of a purely editorial nature take effect without acceptance. Previous versions you accepted remain recorded.

15. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the state in which we have our registered seat (see the legal notice), excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of provisions that cannot be derogated from by agreement under the law of the country in which you habitually reside, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

For businesses, the courts at our registered seat have exclusive jurisdiction.

We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board, unless the law obliges us to. We are happy to resolve any complaint directly; please write to office@ittrail.at.
